"Do not hesitate to check this place out. We had a very unruly eight month-old 70 pound puppy. What a remarkable transformation in just a five day program with the Dog Retreat Center. He can now walk on a leash without distraction, obeys on command, and is such a pleasure compared to how he used to be. A shout out to Savannah who is his trainer. She really helped us to understand our dog so much better. We highly recommend the Dog Retreat Center for training, daycare, and boarding."

"I brought my new shelter rescue here for their 5 day "daycare and train" program and cannot say enough great things about the staff, the center, and the philosophy. Everyone was so friendly during pickup/drop-off, the facility is clean, and the pups are well loved and taken care of while maintaining boundaries and rules. The philosophy and training format is very intuitive and really "clicked" for me as a new owner. The 1:1s in the center and in the home were extremely helpful and both Grace and Zen are so knowledgeable and helpful, as it can be a lot of information to process at once. I feel empowered as an owner (and the new "leader of the pack") and would recommend Dog Retreat Center to anyone looking for a training program or daycare/boarding option. I especially love knowing all dogs being boarded or attending daycare have also attended DRC training. I wouldn't change a thing about my experience and feel very thankful to have found DRC."

"Definitely the BEST canine day care and training facility in Boise! I look forward to the days my Golden gets to go play his heart out knowing he will be mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the day without picking up any bad habits. "I’m not going to lie I was skeptical at first bringing my dog Benson here. He would lunge at other dogs/ people on walks and would pull like crazy and just was uncontrollable. We took him here for the 10 day board and train and he’s improved SO much. He still has some work to do at home but they have done such an amazing job. They sent pictures and updates throughout his stay there which put my mind at ease. We were impressed so much that we decided to put our other dog Ella through a shorter training and she did AMAZING as well. They’re both like whole new dogs (in a good way lol!) We can’t thank you all enough for helping us with our fur babies!"
