"We have really enjoyed being a part of this club. My daughter feels so comfortable going there for open gym and practice. She has gotten to know many of the coaches through open gyms and has improved steadily! The staff looks at the athletes as a whole and encourages athletes of all skill levels. It’s more than just a volleyball club - it feels much more like family!"
"Signed up my daughter last year and her coach and family all got covid and cancelled practice for 2 weeks. We then got covid and were gone from practice for 1 more week . When coming back to practice the following week the coach told us we couldn't return because no communication was receieved. Showed screen shots of communication via text to the coach. Spoke with the owner of One VA and sent her screen shots where the coach was communicating through his 11 yr old daughter and a group chat instead of the app the parents are supposed to use and his daughter created another group chat and excluded my daughter. The coach immediately replaced her position with a friends daughter. The owner stated that this year her $800 would be applied and she could try out again. I never receieved a call and continued to call One VA to find try out dates. I finally receieved a call in Aug and was told their spots were all full. I have asked for a refund several times with no response."
"Absolutely love ONE VA! Deb Phillips is an attentive director who knows all the players in her club from age 11 to 18! She is devoted to developing her athletes into whole people, not just developing the athletic skills. The coaches she employs are also invested in helping develop these young lady's charisma, sportsmanship, and adaptability. I highly recommend this club for your daughter to grow as a young lady and athlete!"
