"Had my first mammogram there. My doctor sent me for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. There was some confusion as to what was going on with my health, as my doctor didn't give super precise, clear orders, but the frustration of the staff was definitely directed towards me. And I had even less information than they did!!! I had just hoped, given the sensitivity of the situation and it being my first ever mammogram, I would have been treated with more compassion and care. I was very disappointed. I will not be going back to this facility for any future check ups."

"Such a money grab. Starts as we care, come jump on our bus at lunch for easy access. Then they are stumped by what they find, gosh we don't know. You need to follow up. Then you have to jump through hoops. Just can't call to schedule further tests, have to get approved from your primary, if you ever have one. So weeks later you can schedule further testing. Now they still don't know what they see so it's biopsy time. You find out a day prior that this will cost hundreds of dollars out of pocket, if you have great insurance like I do. You have been so scared and nervous so you go through with it. It's pure torture. Days later you get a call that all is good, we see these all the time. Final price tag total, 8,000 dollars! This will ruin people financially! What a scam. Never coming back again."

"I had a routine mammogram here. The image on my right breast was “inconclusive” so my doctor put in an order for a screening ultrasound. I found out two days before the appointment this facility does not do screening ultrasounds and wanted to charge $700. St. Al’s does not care about preventative care for women. They only want to make obscene amounts of money. Most women cannot afford $700 and I fail to see why st Al’s would refuse to do screening ultrasound when the only issue is poor image due to dense breast tissue - which is a totally normal condition affecting half of all women to some degree. Will no longer use this facility or at Al’s. They don’t care about women’s health only making money."

From my initial mammogram, follow-up diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, and then biopsies, and other pre-op procedures, I was always treated with the utmost care and respect. The radiologists, mammogram technicians, nurse navigator, and reception staff were all so helpful and supportive during a difficult, emotional time. I was able to get necessary appointments set up quickly with the help of the nurse navigator and was connected with an amazing surgeon. I am incredibly grateful for the competent and caring staff and can definitely recommend them."
