"If you want to buzz through your flight training, do not find yourself here. Go find a puppy mill school if you want to get your training done in a couple months. However, if you want to build a foundation of fine-tuned stick and rudder skills, Jim and Lisa are your people. Both love teaching and want to see their students succeed safely. They are devoted and willing to work with your skills and needs. Be ready for a challenge from them and take their lessons seriously. Both of them like to say they teach to fly the “old fashioned” way (which they do), but I’d like to give them credit for also teaching how to use the new technology out there. Their planes are well kept and are not your standard steam gauged 6 packs. They pour money into their planes in order for them to be as relevant to the aviation community as possible. You come out as a well-rounded pilot after your training, who can apply his/her skills to many flying environments. I have gone through three certifications with them (private, instrument, and commercial), and I am so grateful for them. Both of them do not stand for mediocrity! Yes aviation training is extremely rewarding, but it is difficult and stressful too. It has no room for barely passable skill and knowledge, which Jim and Lisa fully comprehend. This is why they invest so much time and effort into their school. A smart pilot is a safe pilot. They have developed not only my pilot skills, but also they have strengthened my decision-making skills, critical thinking, and aviation confidence."

"What a wonderful experience. I decided to do a Discovery Flight for my 40th birthday after dreaming about maybe one day flying for years. I'm really glad I did! My CFI Mike is an awesome instructor and very personable. I learned a lot from both our ground instruction and the flight itself! I was a touch more nervous than I thought I would be. "I have been a pilot for 43 years. I recently purchased a high performance light sport aircraft and needed someone to teach me how to best fly it, and safely. Lisa had not flown this particular plane before either, but she has such vast experience and expertise for anything with wings that she learned to fly it like an expert in no time, and then set out to teach me.
