They always help me with whatever I am in need of help with in a short period of time. They truly deserve the world and this is easily one of the best banks I’ve ever worked with!! Especially with how often I lose my card haha. And the $29 overdraft fee is truly not bad compared to other banks in the area, the CDA bank charges a $200 overdraft fee which is absolutely insane! Never looking back and won’t swap credit unions for any other one ❤️ love this place and all their employees way too much"

"We had an estate account at Bank of America. We needed checks right away. They said they would be here in two weeks and they couldn’t give us counter checks . Three weeks later still no checks, they had forgotten to order them. Closed the account and went to see Erika at hzcu Mirabeau. She had us all set up in no time. She was (and always is) wonderful. Everyone in that office treats us like a friend. Loved it!"

"My family and I have banked at Horizon for years, and overall it’s been a pleasant experience. However, I have recently decided to move my money to another financial institution because of my experiences with Horizon. For starters, their online banking is so outdated. They use a third party company for many of their card functions, so doing things like turning your card “on and off” to help prevent fraud is not user friendly at all and requires a second app to even do so. If fraud does take place on your card, their dispute process is PAINFUL. I just sat on the phone for 15 minutes with a third party representative to file a dispute for unauthorized charges, to which they told me they were unable to help me. As an employee of another local credit union, I literally cannot imagine offering this service to members of the community. My main frustration is how many things they are unable to do for members in branch that you are left to do by yourself. The reason I bank and work at local credit unions like this one is the customer service. When you require the member to do the banking on their own and don’t give them efficient tools to do so, you are truly shooting yourself in the foot."
