"My plan said they covered prenatal care. But so far I've paid $3,000 out of pocket for US and testing most of which is not being applied to my deductible. They aren't paying the testing because the provider was out of network. They didn't tell us there was a provider in network until after the test was preformed which by the way when you are dealing with the situation we were in that is the worse time to discuss money... oh and they covered less then if we hadn't gone with insurance."

"As horrible as most private insurers are, being in the business of denying claims (why cant we have single-payer like every other wealthy nation?), Mountain Health's customer service is wonderful. I had questions about a claim and someone very nice answered the phone without a wait and answered them. Isn't that amazing that these days that warrants a five-star review?"

"My wife and I enrolled with Mountain Health Co-Op through Your Health Idaho. Initially they we fine to work with. I then had an issue with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare about my ATP for my premiums that was not their fault. At first their Member Service Team was helpful and recommended an appeal with Your Health Idaho. It turns out that was the wrong move and the appeal was denied. I called back to the Member Service Team and it felt like the representative had no interest in helping or resolving the issue. I asked to speak to a supervisor to gain some additional help. Here I am waiting over 45 minutes on hold and then I was transferred to a survey instead of the supervisor. It seems like they do not care. I would recommend looking into other options for your insurance needs - and NO Mountain Health - I am not interested in contacting your less than helpful Member Service Team."

"I've had such a bad experience with this company. If you have to pay half your premium one week, then pay the other half the next, you call back and your payment has doubled then they say that it's for the next months payment. I've never heard of being charged for the next month in the middle of the month. That's just absurd. Plus I have arthritis at a young age and the injection that MY DOCTOR recommended me got denied because of my age. Good thing we're switching to a company that has better reviews. Don't go with these guys. Just save your money."

"Service was fine while we were covered. Cancelling was a joke though. I had to call multiple times over multiple months to tell them over and over again to cancel my insurance with them. They continued automatically deducting large amounts from my bank account months after I had cancelled, and I had to continually call my bank and tell them to block withdrawals by mhc. I cancelled (for the first time) in November. I just got my February statement saying they'll be withdrawing another $800 from my bank account. It still hasn't been fixed."
