"Booked here through Expedia with what I thought was a refundable room - was coming in for work and the trip wasn't a sure deal. Unfortunately work got canceled and I missed some Expedia+Fairbridge fine print somewhere so only a couple nights were actually refundable. I talked to a nice Fairbridge lady on the phone who assured me things could and would still be canceled and not to worry (and also to cancel my Expedia reservation - a mistake). Should have gotten it in writing - just got a $366 charge on my CC. Beware!"
"When we arrived the front desk person was so busy texting on her phone she was barely able to help us. Rooms are WAY overpriced for an old run down hotel. Everything in the room, including all of the lighting, was unplugged and very difficult to get to the outlets. The clock was in a drawer and there was a telephone, but without the cord for the wall outlet. Bizarre hotel. I would not recommend it."
"The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly. The room, although small was quiet and clean. What would have been nice is more electric outlets and/or USB chargers, a side table/lamp for both sides of the bed and maybe another shelf in the bathroom!"
"Fresh biscuits made for a fantastic breakfast! Hotel was clean and the rooms were nice with updated modern bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also had unique rustic decor that created a very cozy cabin feel. I would recommend staying here."
