"Dr. Whitaker and his staff are amazing. After 30 years of waiting tables and bartending there aren't many parts of my body that didn't hurt. Dr. Whitaker sat down with me, and discussed every issue, from the immediate, to the aches and pains. He laid out a plan of action, informed me of every option available, and then he took my pain away (or made it considerably better). I thought that I would have to live the rest of my life in pain, and now I know that I don't have to. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone living a life of pain. "Have you ever wondered if there was a light at the end of the tunnel? It was beginning to feel like there wasn't for me. Well I wonder no more thanks to Dr. Whitaker. Anyone that has suffered from a migraine knows just how much they can take away from your quality of life. Now I've regained a quality of life that didn't even seem possible all thanks to the expert care I'm receiving. The staff are friendly, caring, and well organized. "I went to see Dr. Whitaker about continuous neck pain I had been experiencing for years. After thoroughly assessing me, he had me get an MRI, for which I was very hesitant because after having a surgery 25 years ago I was told that I could never have an MRI. Dr. Whitaker consulted with medical professionals and found out that was not true and I was able to have an MRI. The MRI showed significant narrowing on the right side of my cervical spine and I was told by the surgeon that I was months away from the effects of paralysis to set in. I had surgery and the surgeon said my right side was more narrowed than initially seen on the MRI and it was a good thing I had surgery when I did. I credit my ability to move freely without pain to Dr. Whitaker. He was, and has been, amazing. His office staff is wonderful; particularly Lori (hopefully I spelled that right). She also worked very hard on insurance approval and facilitating the MRI with the imaging center. If you are living in pain, stop it and go see Dr. Whitaker at Idaho Joint & Spine."
