"Traveling 1500 miles half ways across(t) the USA two times, and by coincidence I ended up stopping here both times. It was neat to recognize a place that is in the middle of nowhere. The first time around I was buying a bunch of slim jims and the lady told me she was supposed to have eye surgery but it was very far away and she didn't know yet how that was going to work out. I hope that all worked out for her!"
"The owner ripped me off this morning.I heard they refilled propane bottles so I drove over to have my bottle refilled or exchanged or whatever.It was a small regular bottle which normally cost $12-$15 everywhere in the USA but he charged me $30.I said $30? Why so high,he says because they have to stop what they are doing and run somewhere else to have it filled and it's hardly worth the trouble and I said....On both ends.Had I known he was gonna rip me off like that I would have left and not gotten the bottle filled.If it was too much trouble for them then why do it and gouge a customer?He is a thief in my eyes and I will never spend another dime there."
"Shabby building. Went in to be looked over by some dirty hippie wanna be. The sign on window said HOT COFFEE. Yup it was hot but only about an inch in the pot that was stale. Hippie guy said it was made in the morning. What morning? Hey the sign didn't lie, it WAS hot coffee, just not FRESH HOT COFFEE."
"Very nice folks here. Gas prices are no higher than the big interstate stations. Good coffee and small town hospitality to a big city foreigner (lol)."
"Extra, extra slow pumps: This is a gas station, and you can get gas here. Im not sure what governs how quickly the gas comes out, but that mechanism is set at an exceptionally slow level as of right now. I started and have now finished this review while waiting for a 10 gallon tank to fill up. I feel mean for posting a slow review, but SO SLOW!"
