Bionic Burger

"One of the legendary burger stops of Wichita, just east of Hillside and Harry. For this visit, I was in the neighborhood and was hungry for a good old fashioned burger, which is what Bionic is known best for. Unfortunately the counter service was chippy and did not take the right order from me. I went with the wrong meal anyway since it was a classic double cheeseburger and it was actually pretty good around the edges, but was a soggy mess in the middle which I couldn’t finish. Thankfully the fries were crispy and tasted great, and the dining area was clean and roomy. Overall, this burger place is surely better than the alternatives in the area but I wouldn’t recommend driving any amount of distance for a meal here."

"Don’t waste your money or your time.Worst Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had. There was enough meet to cover half the bread that was so soggy it fell apart when I picked it up. The sauce and mushrooms on the Philly were obviously microwed for way too long and I couldn’t bite into it for 20 minutes the sauce was so over microwaved it wouldn’t cool down, just burning hot bullcrap flavorless trash. I was baked and really tried to eat it too. The bread isn’t toasted. Just a plain cheap soggy bun. Just lame and overpriced garbage. The corn dogs and fries were nothing special either. Mushroom Swiss had mushrooms on one side of the burger. Was just trash. I’ll never waste my money there again. I do not recommend at all."

"Quality of food is top notch. But the “chipotle ranch” fries aren’t what they claim to be. There are no chipotle peppers, just pickled canned jalapeños, and what seems like a cheese sauce. Otherwise, it was good. Just not necessarily what we wanted, or what is advertised."

"Great place to grab a good ole fashioned greasy burger. The Bacon cheddar burger was great. The portion was huge and the fries were overflowing. The fries were also light and perfectly fried."

"Don't waste your time with this location. My first clue should have been the 4 people eating inside. Went through the drive thru, ordered a Philly cheesesteak with no mushrooms and a #2. Had an exceptionally long wait for the car in front of me. When I got to the window, the girl apologized for the wait and upgraded my drink to a large. Then she asked me to move ahead to wait for my food. After 10 minutes, she finally came out. When I got home, there were tons of mushrooms on my Philly, and the burger was dry with obviously old patties. Waste of nearly 20 dollars. I try to support local, but ill drive to a chain store instead of this place from now on"
