"This place was a mess. Disorganized. A failed jenga game would have more structure than this establishment. I felt like if there was an emergency like a fire, you would not be able to get out in time. Unfortunately, it's the only place in this small town to buy anything."

"Well if this so called covid-19 Virus. People get tested. Asymptomatic. And like magic it come out positive. Dollar general has 3 employees out with this leave only a few works to complete the task of taking care of the customers. Pluse unloading and distributing the items onto the shelves. Boxes are piled up. District corporate managers. Need to allow over time. The employees that are sick Will be out for 2 weeks."

"My experience. Where to begin. The cashier was very talkative, which was fine, but was on his phone the entire time, as well as had headphones in his ears. On another visit, same employee said 'Jesus Christ' very loudly, and honestly I found it to be super offensive. Religious slurs should not be expressed in a professional setting, nor should it be accepted. The rest of the staff was pleasant with the other customers present, and have always been helpful when needed."

"What can I say. The Dollar General was clean. I think they need to work on there placement of things. Why is the body wash in the same iles as motor oil?? Other wise a nice store over all."

"The assistant manager is very rude, like some of their products you get what you pay for. This store is very unorganized, messy, dishonest and frustrating to shop at. They put coupons all over their products making it difficult to find what is included with the coupon and what is not. They do not honor advertised coupons. The assistant manager herself does not understand how the digital coupons work. The counter to the register is so full there is hardly enough room for your items and the clutter filled circular bag station makes it very easy for a customer to overlook a bag of paid items. If you leave a bag and do not claim it before the employees shift is over forget about getting your items back. The line to check out is long and the front of the store is so messy a real line can not be formed.They will have three employees standing around with one register open, if you ask to open another register the request is denied with some excuse. There should be no excuses two registers should be available at all times for busy moments this is poor management. We addressed our concerns with the assistant manager who told us to go somewhere else then and not shop there. Our complaints could have easily been resolved instead we were met with her argumentative, rude, aggressive,worrisome behavior. Having job security should not give a free pass to be abusive to customers. DG in Ulysses lost a family customer and landed a bad review."
