"I have had auto with Safeco for over 20 years and home for over eight years. Policies have doubled with less coverage. I had a roof damage claim and I had to fight with Safeco to ensure the roofer was paid. Safeco does not honor their contracts and customer service is horrible. I called COSTCO and have two new policies with better coverage and saved about 25%. I called to cancel policies ten days ago and today discovered they did not cancel policies. Safeco fraudulently keeps money and then states that it was a “human error.” DO NOT write policies with Safeco or Liberty Mutual."

"SafeCo sent me directly to this agency. They falsely claimed to be SafeCo employees. They added my partner as an excluded driver without telling me. 5 days into the policy and they've stopped responding to email. I'm going to get new car insurance and away from SafeCo as soon as possible."

"Liberty mutual through safeco is the worst insurance I have ever experience 1) They recommended that I should NOT call the police when I was rear-ended by un-insured driver 2) paid me 70% of what my clean title perfect condition truck was worth after accident. 3) Insurance adjuster ignores 70% of my texts/emails."

"As many have stated. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. I originally switched to Safeco because it was going to save me quite a bit of money. Well I am paying for it now. My truck was stolen in July. It was recovered a week later, but now I wish it had never been found. We are now well into October with no end in sight of getting it back. My truck was taken for a serious joy ride and absolutely trashed. I pointed out all of the things that were broken or damaged. Then Safeco started an investigation into me trying to get out of fixing damage that "wasn't related" to the incident. I even provided photo's and maintenance records to show the previous condition of the vehicle. The evidence I provided has fallen on deaf ears and totally ignored. I feel like I have been treated more like a criminal than their customer. This is the worst experience I have ever had with Insurance. I have warned and will keep warning every person I know to NEVER get their insurance."

"SafeCo/LibertyMutual IS HANDS DOWN! The worst insurance company you could imagine! Disgusting, does not describe what these people do! Here's my "BOOK"~ Hello, On December 23rd our vehicle was totaled. I contacted my insurance company and was told there was no need to file any type of claim since we weren't at fault. It took several months to come to the conclusion that the Allstate policyholder had a "minimum" policy and that my uninsured/underinsured policy would need to take effect. My insurance (SafeCo) company then needs to do their "own" valuation months later! By doing so, they disregarded market fluctuations and ultimately told me to accept the Allstate offer as their offer wasn't any better. I am unsure how this isn't blatant false advertising in regard to what uninsured/underinsured insurance coverage is for! So, the uninsured driver that totaled 2 vehicles with a "minimum policy" is better than the uninsured/underinsured policy I pay for monthly? Quite frankly, I have no idea how this isn't considered blatant fraud! After sending SafeCo a couple of vehicles as comparisons, I am told they cannot be accepted! 1 is a year OLDER and CANNOT hurt the valuation in any way, but was still not accepted! So, Safeco instead uses 4-door trucks of different years, options, motors, etc to come to their "valuation" with no photos for reference while ignoring my comparable vehicles that are much closer to a fair representation than their manipulated "requirements"/comparables. Brandon Hodges and SafeCo have found that their valuation wasn't correct. So, they changed some details to make the offer SEEM more accurate. Unfortunately, Safeco cannot provide any reasonable reason for its valuations or mistruths! Telling me that they cannot accept certain vehicles; year, make, model, etc WHILE AT THE SAME TIME deciding that 4 door trucks with different motors and options are acceptable! AS LONG AS THEY SAY SO! Allstate's valuation was $8200 or $7800 if I kept the vehicle. Safeco knows we are keeping the vehicle as it has specifically been mentioned. So, when SafeCo acknowledged that the vehicle in question is hard to find, they changed their "offer". However, the "change" was only for the option where we don't keep the vehicle. Safeco has sent me a check without confirming my acceptance! They ignore my phone calls, cannot provide photos of the "valuations" and quite frankly are borderline corrupt! The uninsured/underinsured INSURANCE they offer is a CLEAR case of FALSE ADVERTISING! They do nothing to help cover the loss! They only try to increase the personal loss or tell you to take the previous offer! Valuations are done solely to lower what you are owed! Also, these A$$HOLES were upping my policy! Went from $360 to over $400 because "more people were moving here." Then when I added a second driver ( teen 19yr old and a 23yr old already covered) they tried to raise my rates to over $700! They also had my policy limits at levels that were not required! It may not matter during a good economy (trump) It sure TF does matter during a 3rd world economy! DNC/RINO/GOV/bobblehead media liars and their installed POS!"
