"All five of my children had their teeth straightened by Dr. Hintz when he practiced in Coeur d'Alene. Each one of them was a unique situation, and he addressed each one of them with over the top care and consideration. His practice was not dependent on prizes, bells, and whistles, which I was not interested in anyway. Nevertheless, my children loved coming in, and his staff was always so kind and friendly. He is the top of his line, very well-versed in medical issues as well as dentistry and orthodontics. My wife and daughter both had work done, and because the company I worked for paid a significant amount towards braces I asked Dr Hintz what it would take for me to get one of my teeth starightened - the question he asked changed my life forever. He asked if I had trouble breathing, which in fact I did, I had been diagnosed with sleep apnea several years prior. He made an appointment with an orthidontic surgeon (Dr Cullum in CDA) and through a CAT scan it was revealed that I had a compromised airway, I was only getting about half my air. I now have had jaw surgery to correct that and am on my way to a nice smile and being able to breathe again!!
