"Had an infection in my knee joint. Surgery was on thursday, I and D drainage performed. It was a holiday weekend so Efird was on vac I assume. Saturday came and my leg and knee got really hot, red, and swollen. Under the drs orders nurses couldnt touch the bandages. I begged them to at least check it, they said Efird would get upset because NOBODY unwraps his work but him. I had to check myself out in fear of losing my leg. When I got home I removed the bandages and the iodoform packing and OMG!!! PUSS, BLOOD, FLUID, AND CHUNKS of dissolved flesh poured out of the wound for 5 minutes. A good 18 inch diameter puddle . I believe id lost my leg if i hadnt went home. Be careful for a jocks ego, its more important than your health."

"Very efficient, pleasant assistants. Both my knees were in trouble. He took as long as I needed to explain his diagnoses of the X rays, my options and possibilities of a knee replacement. He is an excellent and friendly communicator. If I have to have surgery , he is the one to do it"
"To say he went above and beyond would be an understatement! I would go back to him in a heartbeat. I will also recommend him to everyone! He had great bedside manner. He was great with my kids. Don't hesitate on going to see him."
