"The young lady that took care of me spoke very softly- I had to have her repeat almost everything she said- but she was very nice and polite. I've had better candy- this tastes like what someone would make at home with chocolate from the grocery store. And the store really needs an updated remodeling inside. I love the chocolate covered jelly sticks but will not buy them there were people just reach into the jar- that's just plain disgusting."

"Yes, its one of the few businesses in this empty town to eat or get sweets but…. There is no excuse for a place that is absolutely filthy dirty with floors that haven’t been cleaned in years or ever! There is grime on every floor surface, dirt and grease on the walls behind a dirty skillet, food waste on the floors between cabinets etc. I have been in twice with friends and each time, it seems dirtier. Even the air vents have black dirt all over them. The owner is s nice guy who clearly has lost his eyesight. Just because you’re one of the few businesses open that serves food in that town doesn’t mean the public should be subjected to this filth."

"Delightful. Delicious. A must stop spot for anyone passing through this darling town! Vibrant ambiance featuring local artists' works, traditional boxed games to play at one's table, and some of the most genuinely happy helpful staff I've ever met! Good food, and decadent chocolates and candies in a broad selection, with cheeky fun gifts, cards, and decor, just makes this whole fun place come together. The luncheon menu is great with many options for salads, sandwiches, wraps, pretzels, ice cream and other treats! For picky eaters (like myself) one can ask for substitutions and omissions, or make their own selection for a completely custom meal. The prices are very reasonable, providing great value for quality cooked-to-order meals that are worth the wait. We had lunch to stay, then purchased a variety of chocolates and candy to go. Before my final checkout I enjoyed a complimentary sample of their delicious mint chocolates... which led me to add a small box to my tally. :)"

"A perfect slot in a small town with atmosphere that feels like home. A bit pricey. Plymouth Turkey sandwich was fresh tasting. White bread was fresh tasting but I’d like to see a grain bread used maybe a 12 grain for more body. Cranberry sauce used was okay but needs something, maybe less spice and more of a cranberry flavor left. Side garden salad was perfect and more than just a splash of lettuce. Ordered a yummy sundae with grasshopper and huckleberry and hot fudge. Staff is friendly and involved in helping each other with customers. Overall very good id just like to see their food kick up the flavor profile a bit. We will be back. Store also offers gifts, some local fare, candy, and games like scrabble and Jenga to play!"
