"I gave them multiple chances to get it right and they just couldn’t figure it out. But that didn’t stop them from giving me the run around. My issue: the brake pedal was rumbling/fluttering while turning and braking. What fixed it: replacing the CV Axle Shaft. (Golden Rule Brake rocks!) However, when I first came into Clark’s they misdiagnosed it as warped rotors ($550). As soon as I left, the brakes acted up again. Came back in, and they misdiagnosed as a faulty battery ($208). Coincidentally, my headlight went out after I had this replaced, AND my rear calipers were leaking. Fast forward to Golden Rule Brake, they explain to me that the rear brakes appeared to have recently been worked on and to contact Clark’s to see if these were under warranty. Brenda at Clark’s picks up the phone and explains to me that not only am I unable to speak to the service technician that worked on my car, but they also conveniently lost the paperwork for the services completed. I was under the impression that the paperwork must be maintained for the same period as the part replacement warranty- but some how the documentation went missing a week after the services were performed. She tells me to call back in 30 minutes and allegedly, the paperwork was found, but states nothing about the rear brakes being worked on. Essentially my front AND rear brakes were messed with but there’s no record of it, so I had to eat the cost of getting this fixed. The take away from this: don’t go to Clark’s. They will find whatever they can to replace and charge you for; and may never fix the issue you went there to repair. I didn’t go back to find out. After everything being repaired (included the subsequent issues of going to Clark’s), my total was $2200. Update: I was informed that the rear brakes were not worked on AND I was informed that no issues were ever experienced with the ABS. Not once did they say a code was thrown for this. Not sure if this is poor communication or something being said after the fact. I sent my car guy in to confirm this information and pick up the notes that Brenda kindly set aside. Either way, Clark’s wasn’t willing to reimburse me for the work that was completed and repaired by Golden Rule AFTER messing with my rear kalipers. But thanks for admitting in the comment below that you worked on my rear brakes afterall."

"I noticed an oil leak in my driveway. Took the car in that same day, and it ended up being a cracked oil pan so they needed it for a couple of days. They gave me a really nice complementary loaner car so I wouldn’t be stranded. I felt well taken care of."
