"I cannot say enough about how great of an experience we’ve had with Dr. Franklin and his team at Kansas City Canine Orthopedics Our pup- Willie- needed both back legs operated on with a TPLO surgery. Willie struggled with coming out of anesthesia - especially the second time around and we felt so supported! Not only did Dr. Franklin and his team give us the time we needed to get Willie ready to go home comfortably and for us to feel confident we could help get our pup home safely, he called us that night before bed to talk through any needs willie had, the clinic continued to follow up each day or so for the first 5-6 days post opp. They have been so communicative and patient with me especially because I have millions of questions! The clinic itself was clean and I appreciated that Dr. Franklin showed us pictures and videos to understand what was going on. Willie still has a few weeks to be fully recovered but he is already a new dog and his personality/energy is back! He wants to play more and I know is ready to start running around! We can’t thank them enough for helping our sweet boy!"

"These guys were amazing! From the first time I walked into their clinic I was impressed. The clinic is very clean, tidy, and modern (in a comfortable way). Dr. Franklin gave me a very thorough explanation using photos & video to help understand how my dogs leg/knee had deteriorated and their process to heal it through surgery and recovery. It was apparent during the explanation that Dr. Franklin and his team fully understood both my dogs needs and mine. "I cannot recommend Kansas City Canine Orthopedics enough! Our 10 year old, 4-legged son, Bronson, had been struggling for quite some time with weakness in his hind quarters. After hearing about this center my husband drove our pup out from California to get surgery. They were all so kind and knowledgeable. Ashley Franklin took the best care of Bronson and probed both hind quarters to make sure we were getting the correct surgery to help Bronson live a long and pain free life. She was extremely thorough and made sure my husband felt completely informed and in the loop during the entire process. Sam Franklin, who performed the surgery, did an incredible job. It went so smoothly, with zero complications, and the incision section was very clean. Only two weeks post-op and our dog is already back to his smiley self and walking on his own! We would 1000% make the drive again to know our pet is in such capable and professional hands."
