"New to Missouri the place we normally go isn’t here so we went there last year it was alright went back this year, same place same guy and I will never be going back. Steve Bond claims to be the manager of this location after he yelled at me and threatened me today when I went to talk to him I called the corporate office to find out he is not the manager of this location and was out of line. When we filed he pushed the American Express card on us, we have ALWAYS done direct deposit, he assured us that it was just as good and we could pay bills from the card and use it any where now my return has been stuck on this card for 2 weeks because I can not use it hardly anywhere can’t pay bills from it as a matter of fact I tired and now have $280 in rejected payment fees on top of my bills. I asked him if he could help me figure it out and he lost his temper very quick. I told him he shouldn’t be pushing a product he isn’t knowledgeable of and he screamed at me to get out of his office and said he had my work info on file and would be causing me trouble at work for offending him. I have reported him and am currently trying to reach the actual store manager since corporate told me who she is. Be careful who you trust your financial information with."

"I called ahead of time to ascertain the amount charged for a return. The person I spoke with said, "it's usually $164 ish." We showed up to our appointment and there was no further information asked or provided. It wasn't until after we left and was reviewing our paperwork that we discovered we were charged almost $500. We contacted them on their web site and requested to be contacted and still have not heard from anyone. Worst customer service. Will NEVER use this company again."

"I came into this office because the Jackson Hewitt website stated $25 any return for everyone. DID NOT GET IT. Was discounted instead....would've been 390.00 with my complex return but instead paid 130ish.Wasn't very professional at all. EMPLOYEES COULD NOT GET ALONG. The gentleman was constantly interrupting my tax preparation which made the whole process take way longer than needed. This office in particular was being ran like it was a home. Full size dog inside. Employee's personal phone would not stop ringing during the first 30 minutes."
