J31 Dance Center is a welcoming institution located in Lee's Summit, Missouri, United States. Our priority is putting the students and their families first, creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone. Our goal is to have a positive impact on young lives, encouraging hard work, personal growth, and fun.
At J31 Dance Center, we understand the importance of age-appropriate dance training, music, and costuming. We cater to students of all ages and abilities, from once-a-week dancers to those who are more serious about their training. Our classes are designed to be inclusive, making every student feel special, important, and confident.

"J31 is my daughters new dance home! We moved to Missouri a year ago from Illinois. This was the first studio we stepped into and never went any where else. The studio, families, owner and instructors are family now. I trust my daughter Harper with them every night. She is on their competition team and she is so happy!! "Not the right fit for our family. Looking for classical training. With age appropriate costumes and songs. Overpriced for the level of training. Our family put a lot into J31 for the love of our daughters. Including helping out while the floor was flooding and the owner was at Disney, my husband got the floors shop vacuumed, and helped the floors from rotting with no thanks from the owner, he built the benches in the locker room with no compensation in his time off for the love of his daughters with no thanks from the owner Meghan. He helped install doors again with no request or offer of thanks/ compensation. After months of searching, my husband got the newly purchased mirrors delivered and installed through a family member who works with glass again with no thanks from the owner. She made it very clear that our girls were not valued. We were asked to pick up the owners truck and boat before nationals so that the dance dads could spend time on the lake during nationals. We went out of our way to pick them up separating our family into two vehicles to drive to Branson for nationals then back home to Lee's Summit spending our own gas money and again with no thanks from the owner. The front desk employee sent unprofessional and explicit texts."
