"I don’t normally post reviews, but I was so impressed with the Lied Center! I work at NWMSU, and I have access to so many fitness options. Except over the holidays! I decided last week to check out the Lied Center as an alternative. I loved it. Yes, all of the equipment was well kept and maintained. That was perfect. I was extremely pleased with the pool. When you first dip your toes in, it seems slightly cool, but you soon realize it’s the perfect temperature to adjust quickly and be comfortable. Then, to be able to sit and relax in a hot tub after a total body workout?? HEAVEN! All of this for $5 with a key to a locker included?! Heck yeah! I’m going back today before the football game!"
"I just moved here and I LOVE this place/pool is great for the kids, and I finally have a place to work out that isnt packed with people. They have great hours and they absolutely have a fabulous staff, so I say (Ms Zona) that this place is great! Those other reviews are clearly from people that dont know the meaning of a CENTER ... if you want a gym drive to Des Moines, this is clearly a place for recreation and family time, and for healthy living! If you think it needs weights or more of something ... heres an idea GO BUY IT AND DONATE it... clearly they will accept it ... i love you guys!"
