"Dr. Osborn removed a cataract from my right eye in June 2022. Surgery went well and the lens he placed gave me perfect vision. However, I had trouble with flashes of light from the periphery of that eye EVERY DAY following the surgery. I made multiple trips back to the office, to be told to wait 3 months to see if it would go away. 8 months following surgery I finally got to see Dr. Osborn. When I was still having the problem a year after surgery, I asked to be referred to someone who might know why I was having flashes of light. I ended up at Washington University. Dr. Sheybani did surgery two days ago to move my lens closer to the front of my eye and I have had NO FLASHES since."
