Sun River Apartments

"Had an extremely bad experience with the manager Amber. We asked multiple times if they could replace the lightbulbs right outside the apartments because it was pitch black at night and it felt really unsafe. We were told out of nowhere that they were going to be installing a washer/dryer in our unit and didn’t give us any sort of timeline. The workers she hired were so inexperienced that they used a jackhammer in our bathroom without any sort of ventilation that resulted in concrete dust getting spread throughout our entire apartment over all of our stuff and made it hard to breathe in the unit. It felt uninhabitable. Amber showed no sympathy for this and still refused to at least tell us when the workers will be working in our unit. There was multiple times when my wife would come home past 6pm when I was still at work and people would still be working in our apartment. On top of all this, the washer/dryer unit was installed incorrectly and flooded the bathroom/bedroom when we tried to use it. The dryer vent was also installed incorrectly and the bathroom walls were soaking wet after a single test use. Amber’s disregard for safety and our general well-being made us quickly want to move out. She got hostile with us when we confronted her with all these issues. If you choose to live here, just hope that you never have any emergencies you need to bring to management because they will not help you."

"Would give 0 stars if I could. The apartment was OK at first. The manager, Amber, is one of the worst people I have ever dealt with. Absolutely horrible experience and a dangerous, hazardous living situation. No concerns ever addressed, emails ignored, extremely rude interactions. There are much nicer apartment managers out there, do not live here! The most recent 5 star reviews are from the owner and manager, which should not be allowed! Shady people at Sun River."
