"I contacted Elite Properties in November 2022 regarding any available units. I was informed there were two possible units that might work for me, and upon my viewing I could inform them of which unit I wanted. The maintenance man (who stated he was Lindsey's husband) was present for the viewing. I immediately informed the husband, and called Lindsey stating which property I wanted. I had already been approved for renting with Elite. After the viewing, despite numerous attempts over several days,via many texts and phone messages to initiate a lease, I was finally informed the unit was no longer available. It appears that once it was relayed that I was of African-American ethnicity, that the opportunity to rent the property I was interested in was removed, even though it was available when it was shown to be by her husband. Be leary of dealing with Elite Properties if of my ethnicity, even though her husband appears to be of mixed race, including African-American."
