"A bit windy and cloudy but we took the elevator up and then climbed the last 45 steps. Nice views of the city and at the base is a plaque dedicated in 1921 with some luminaries such as French Marshall Foch and vice President Calvin Coolidge in attendance."

"Best view of Kansas City is on top of the tower."

"It is a friendly and peaceful area to walk around. You can go up to the bridge and see the city. Close to the city center and train station allow you to go on public transport; also there is ample parking if you want to go by car. As usual with American cities, respect for the memorial of their people is always respectable and laudable."

"I was nervous going up because I dont really like heights but I've been working on not letting my fears outweight actual danger. The experience was amazing! The tower has no sway and you could see so far out. The two guides working were very knowledgable and friendly. You take the elavator about 90% of the way up and walk a few steps to get out to the top. I wish it was a clearer day but for $5 I will definitely be back up."

"The ride to the top is quick, there are a few stairs after the elevator. The view of the city from the top is perfect! The tower is only $2 when added to your museum tickets, I recommend doing both. It is $5 if you just want to do the tower."
