"Very impressed! I used to take my daughter to those franchise eye centers. After a couple visits to SLEC, I'll never go back. The doc took the time to dig deep into my daughter's poor eyesight. He asked me several times if "this" or "that" is a concern. I'm pretty sure he tested her prescription a few times to make sure it's correct. The staff took the time to walk my daughter through every potential pair of glasses. Again, very impressed! I received a text a week or so later to call or text to schedule fitting for glasses. Super convenient."

"Summit Lakes Eyecare is the best eyecare place ever they care about their patients very much. I was out of contacts I called yesterday they were going to supply me with temporary ones until my new ones came in. I got there late the office was closed. The cleaning lady was there, she could not let me in to get my contacts as she was not authorized to do so I called the emergency on-call doctor he offered to drive there to let me in to get my contacts so I had them for the holidays and I now have my contacts for the holidays. This definitely speaks volume how much they are willing to help their patients! Thank you Dr. Eric for your help!!! Merry Christmas!"

"Insanely poor customer service today. I've been going here for a few years and this year the Dr. prescribed a new brand of contacts which have been awful. I dread the time it takes to try to put these in my eyes -- I've been wearing contacts for 30 years and never have had the difficulty with these B&L Ultras. Today, after almost an hour of failed attempts on my left eye (I got the right eye in eventually), I called the office to ask if I could come to the office and have someone help me put the left one in. The response? "We don't put contacts in patients eyes and won't do that". Not only that, she recommended I perhaps take a refresher course! An eye doctor who won't help a patient put their contact lenses in after that same doctor prescribed such horrible lenses? So disappointed. Update - after trying again for another 15 mins I thought perhaps I didn't understand them correctly so I called back. Nope, they reiterated they will not help me put my contact in even after I explained I'm headed out of town in a few hours and am not sure what to do about this. Not only that, while talking over me, she repeatedly said I can come up there and wait to see if someone will give me a refresher course and that I would have to pay for that! Maybe this is how all optometrists' offices operate but I wouldn't think so. I had higher expectations for them to help a long time patient or at least express some interest or suggestions with helping me (my eye is now super red and irritated as can be imagined). I would have never imagined the office turning away a patient who needs assistance putting in a contact lens. While the doctor's care has been great, this incident will certainly cause me to leave them and seek services from a more patient friendly office."

"Took my 12 year old Daughter in for her very 1st eye exam. Hands down a 5 star rating. The entire staff was friendly, patient, kind and gentle with her. From the girl doing the initial tests, to the Dr. & the girl showing her glasses."
