"Joan Cobbs is not an honest realtor. People who are about to lease apartment or homes should be very careful, and know who they are dealing with. We leased a home from her & she confirmed everything that she would repair but never did that. The rooms had leaves in the windows, dust, mites and all. The home she leased to us was very old & all she did was just cosmetics repair. She just slapped paint to cover up everything. The Ac/ heating was not working, the cooker stopped working, the dish washer leaked water; infact, it was a mistake renting from her. We were new in town & she had an available home for rent. She never repaired nor opened the windows. I developed some health issues & my son did too. When we told her we were moving, she wasn't happy & asked that we leave the house open. She told us she had visitors & could not come for inspection because she had plans for our deposit. She also asked us to leave a forwarding address so she would send our check-those were her words. A week later, she is claiming that the garage door which she promised to repair that we were the ones that spoilt it. She also claimed that the garage remote which never worked that we were the ones that were supposed to buy the batteries. She gave us 2 remote controls that never worked in the 1st place & asked us to go to c&m appliances & buy the batteries which we did not find. The closet doors were out of the hinges which we told her about from the 1st day we moved in & she just pushed them in & said she would send someone down, which she never did. We bought four large carpets to cover her very old ones that has cigarette butts & all & now she is claiming that we did not clean her carpets. Bottom line is, make sure she puts everything in writing with her signature. When she tells you things that will be repaired, make sure she doesn't fool you. She is very good at making promises that she will never keep. If there is a 0 star, that is what Joan Cobbs will get for her & whatever realtor she is doing. IRS should look into her keeping people's deposits because she will write it off. Now, because my hubby asked her dor his money, she texted him that she will block him for harrasment for calling her. This is the 1st time he is calling her since we moved out of her property in december. My hubby will never harrass anybody, talk more of an old woman. Joan Cobbs should get 0stars."
