"Please go somewhere else if you take your mental health seriously. If you want a qualified, reliable, honest, supportive therapist, please, don't go to Renewed Mental Health. These people have their own issues they need to sort out before trying to treat clients. It's unethical. I saw Angela Fenske and Matt Porte, both self proclaimed shamans. More like shams!! Angela was going through a divorce and should have taken time off to deal with her personal problems. The amount of countertransference was ASTOUNDING!! After she promised she would continue seeing me if I agreed to go to a trauma program, she dropped me as a client without a final session for closure. I was kicked to Matt, who promised to "be my light in the darkness" and "always be there for you." These statements made me incredibly uncomfortable. He would also talk to his "spirit guides" in our sessions. I did not sign up "woo woo" magic, I came in for professional services, specifically trauma, which they claim to be experts at. They're not. Problems abound at this clinic and it would be in your best interest to look elsewhere. The fact that they are still in business "helping" some of the most vulnerable people is honestly disturbing."

"Submitted a new patient intake form 4 weeks ago after being informed by my doctor that one particular provider was accepting new patients, and never heard a word back. Called today and I’m told no one is accepting new clients there right now. My problem is that I spent 4 weeks waiting on communication from them one way or the other, but instead by intake form was just ignored and that time I could’ve spent looking for another provider was completely wasted. A simple email back stating “We do not have any slots available right now, but we will reach out when we do” would have sufficed. Thanks."

"Would NOT recommend. They canceled my first appointment 3 times. I told them to forget about scheduling a 4th appointment. I reminded her this was a mental health appointment and not an appointment to get my nails done. First she had a cold, then she threw her back out and finally she was exposed to Covid. Don’t bother scheduling an appointment…they will just cancel it! They clearly could care less about your mental health!"

"I'm writing this review from a place of sincere frustration. I did not even get the chance to see a therapist because they rescheduled on me SIX times. I understand that people get sick, but SIX times is outragous. I've never had such a poor experience. When I asked if they could at least wave a copay or two for me, since they've canceled on me so many times, I was told they could not do that. If the roles had been reversed and I had canceld on them six times, I guarantee I would have at least been let go as client. Disappointing, frustrating, unprofessional, etc."

"Renewed mental health does exactly what the name says. They helped with every issue including my PTSD. The cost was just right and they worked great with my insurance. I had the opportunity to meet some of the other counselors there and each one are amazing in their work and dedication to their clients. I have seen a few other counselors but none compare to the counselors at Renewed, they are always my first recommendation. They completely Renewed my life!!"
