"I just finished my project with Erica Kay remodeling + design and have to say it was amazing! Erica understands what it's like to have a busy family and how much of a toll a huge renovation can take on your daily life. I loved how she provides different levels of service, from just designing a space and handing it over to you all the way up to coordinating your project from start to finish (i highly recommend this option if your budget allows). I have always been what you might call design challenged and she and her husband Chris made it very easy to choose the fixtures i put in my new kitchen. When I realized halfway through the project that I was going to go over budget they quickly re-grouped and found different options for me to bring us back in line. "I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my Roeland Park kitchen renovation, designed and managed by Erica Thowe. I have an older, smaller 1940’s home, which I love, but I reached the threshold of tolerance for my small kitchen during the pandemic. Erica dropped by to have a look, take measurements and talk through initial ideas and design concepts. Erica had an immediate understanding of my style and added new ideas to the mix. I ended up gutting my kitchen and removing a wall to open up space to add both storage and functionality.
