"There are so many great things I can say about Independence Surgical Clinic. Dr Smith and his team are wonderful. I went in for a large umbilical hernia repair and it went very smooth. I had almost no pain during recovery. From the initial visit to the last follow up appointment, everything was explained and any concerns were addressed. I hope I never need surgery again, but if I do, Dr. Smith's office will be my first call."
"My first visit is also my last. Aside from sitting in the examine room for 40 minutes, the coldness of Dr. Smith was definitely a turn off. He seemed annoyed that he had to see me as a patient at the end of the day and I felt that negative energy. It also seemed rushed. After my visit I had to call the office over and over because they were supposed to call me back for CT scans they ordered and they never did. It was exhausting just dealing with that entire office staff and feeling like I am annoying them because I was just following up. Many others may have had a better experience, but mine was negative and left me feeling bad about myself and that the reason I went there to begin with was stupid. I feel like they need to treat everyone equally no matter what their eyes see."
"Dr.Smith and his staff we’re always professional and friendly. I believe that he went the extra mile when he perform the surgery on me. My surgery was supposed to be about three hours and it turned into 7 1/2 hours. No complaints from Dr Smith at all. He just hung in there and did what he had to do to take of my needs. He had to perform two other surgeries on me as well. All three surgeries went well. I feel like Dr. Smith has a personal connection with his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff."
"Dr. Beahm is my Breast surgeon at Centerpoint. I absolutely love Dr. Beahm. She is very informative and understanding about my health and procedures. I had Double Mastectomy on 3/4/20, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'm so thankful that Dr Beahm is making me better and going on with my healing.
