"Great theater but sound issues - at least for last 2 years seeing A Christmas Carol. We've had problems hearing vocals over instruments. We sat center toward back but a number of rows from back this year, and singing not loud enough in the mix. Keyboard to house left was blaring. Same sound issues as last year when seated on floor to house right - keyboard blaring and hard to hear spoken voice and singing as well. It really puts a damper on the experience. Whoever is running sound is not doing justice to it. This year also hard to hear violin."

"Small, intimate theater setting with a big theater feel. Comfortable seats, great sight lines throughout the auditorium. We saw "A Christmas Carol" and it was beautifully done. Actors were expressive and clearly cared about the material and the audience. Set and lighting was professional. Loved the experience. 10/10 would recommend."

"We took the family (four teens) to see A Christmas Carol, and they were in awe at times, delighted overall. It's one of my favorite Christmas traditions. We also have season tickets to the Rep, and the shows are so well produced, so beautifully acted. The KC Rep is a gem."

"The 7 hour drive from Texas isn’t the most fun I’ve ever had but it was worth it to see my daughter (getting her MFA) perform in the annual “A Christmas Carol” production at KC Rep. The venue is a relatively good size and the holiday decor immediately puts any scrooge in the Christmas spirit. Love the bar in the center of the lobby as it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the space. The theater itself has comfortable seats and the design team did an amazing job with the set. All performers, including my gorgeous daughter, brought the play to life!! What would I have done differently? Have one or two greeters with big smiles at the entrance welcoming people into the building to quickly point out restrooms and ticket check-in!"
