"Nastiest Park in town! Used to be a wonderful park with water and places for the kids to get their feet wet. Now it’s full of waste and homeless people in graffiti.. Shame on Springfield for filling the pools in.. FYI the outhouse is stink they haven’t been cleaned out all summer, so the homeless people are using the backside of the park in the grass."

"Great spot for learning Springfield history. Across the street from the actual spring location. Albeit, it is under a building. Concrete structures looking like a quarry with brass plaques with inscriptions of Springfield's beginnings. Plus, historical photos and a large mural depicting the city through the decades. Place needs attention and there were a few homeless."
