Spring Street Overlook

"Absolutely horrible. If I could rate a zero, I would. We rented both rooms for the weekend. We noticed water pressure issues first thing Saturday morning. The water was barely trickling out of the faucets in both rooms. We waited a while and tried again. Water pressure seemed normal but quit halfway through my shower. We tried again that afternoon and it was only trickling again. I called the owner and she did not care. She didn’t offer to come check it herself, didn’t offer to call a plumber, and didn’t offer to discount our stay at all. She tried to blame it on freezing temperatures but the temperature had been above freezing for several days. She said she couldn’t get a plumber to come check it that late on a Saturday. She said her husband would be home soon and she would call me back. Later that evening we realized we had not heard from her and my husband sent her a text to let her know how disappointed we were in our stay, her lack of empathy and her lack of customer service. Her response was that Eureka Springs is in a historical district and basically can’t do anything about the water situation. We visit Eureka Springs often and have stayed in 4 locations on Spring Street and this is the only location I have ever had water pressure issues. We are friends with the owner of the hotel across the street and asked him about pressure issues and he had not experienced any. A hot shower with adequate water pressure is an essential part of renting a room, especially one as expensive as these were. Save yourself so hassle and discomfort and stay at either hotel on Spring Street. They would at least check into an issue and try to fix it."

"Great place to spend the weekend. Enjoy walking around without having to worry about your vehicle. In the evening you can sit on the private balcony and people watch, listen to the bands playing at a bar down the street, while Listening to people laugh and chat as they walk by. Amazing place, we come every year!"

"My wife and I were gifted a weekend stay here for our wedding and it was a very wonderful stay. The location was perfect, minutes away from everything downtown, and as others mentioned, the dedicated parking spot was very convenient. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and fun with a jacuzzi and a back garden area to relax and read in. It was also quiet considering all the bikers there that weekend. Not that we needed her, but Lisa was very helpful and just a text a way. Highly recommended place to stay in Eureka Springs. We’ll be back!"

"Second floor above a shop right in the center of everything! Dedicated parking space a short distance. If you know this town, that parking spot is like gold. Beautiful garden room, with beautiful, relaxing decor, and a comfy bed that gave me the best sleep in ages. The tiny garden in back is adorable and peaceful, plus I made a squirrel friend. Up to date, clean and well appointed bathroom. Coffee maker, fridge with freezer, and hairdryer all supplied. I enjoyed the envious looks of shoppers as I came and went from my private entrance in the heart of the shopping district. I would definitely always choose this accommodation every future visit. The only thing I would add is a mirror outside the bathroom so one could put on their makeup or do their hair, freeing the bathroom."

"We stayed here a few weeks ago and fell in love with this room that overlooks Spring Street. The place is very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Spring Street Overlook for a nice weekend getaway. Parking provided was very close and made it easy to be right downtown with all the shops and activities. All the amenities including coffee maker, TV, nice tub with massaging jets, shower and the best part is the balcony overlooking the street. Making plans for another visit in a few weeks."
