"Very nice accommodations for our large family Christmas gathering. Very clean and well stocked with everything needed from paper products to clean, soft towels! Would highly recommend if you like fishing & hiking or just a quiet get-away!"

"Had a magical time with our family for an early 2nd annual holiday celebration. Can’t say enough about the place or the staff. It was perfect! Excited to go back next year!"

"A wonderful state park with a lot of CCC buildings. I've been giong there for well over 50 years, always camping in an RV so no info on cabins or hotels, but there are several around. The river is fed by a natural spring from a cave with a trout farm and fishing. Close to home makes the location great."

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Roaring River Resort back in the middle of June. I can’t rate this resort high enough or say enough good things about it. The staff is so nice, and the price is exceptional. Our stay here was phenomenal! My boyfriend is in a wheelchair. The room we stayed in had a bit of step, and he was not able to get his chair in the door. I knew there would be a step, so I brought some boards to help him. I didn’t realize the step would be as big as it was. Someone (I forgot his name) built a ramp for him to get in the door. He built an actual ramp for him! No one has ever done that for him. I was, and am, blown away by the kindness. The size of our room was huge in comparison to other rooms we’ve been in. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We had a regular room, no kitchen or kitchenette. Yet with this room, my boyfriend had plenty of room to move his chair around and go into the bathroom. I can’t wait until we can go back to Roaring River and stay here. I am way overdue in my review."

"The room was so clean and even smelled clean. No carpet to cringe over. Just nice wood floors. The bathroom was spotless. They were very accommodating when we called right before closing time and waited a little late for us to get there. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste but that's a personal preference. Very quiet and peaceful."
