Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center

"We arrived to a wonderful welcome from the front desk staff and a printed out sheet showing us all of the local restaurants and directions to nearby attractions. The hotel has plenty of lounging space that is well-kept and clean. The fitness center is well-equipped with plenty of maintained treadmills. Our two queen room was large, comfortable and was cleaned daily. Free waters for the duration of our stay at the front desk were a nice little extra. We didn’t visit any of the hotel restaurants during our stay. I wish they would have had shuttle service to the convention center (paid or free!). Paying for Ubers/Lyft service daily became expensive and using the free city train wasn’t an option as it doesn’t open until 7am. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!"

"In place of a fitted sheet our beds had flat sheets across the bed horizontally and tucked under the sides. They were not even long enough to cover the whole mattress which I realized when I put my feet under the covers and felt bare mattress. There was no comforter, just a light "blanket" between two sheets, and the pillows were awful. The lobby and banquet areas are nice, but I don't know what was going on with the beds."

"Overall a great stay. It’s not cheap but convenient location to downtown. What blows my mind is you get friendlier service at a small town Marriott than an expensive downtown Sheraton. You would think the fancier hotels would offer a little more personal service but it’s the opposite it seems. Just a number game here. Club lounge is the outlier with an amazing gal who works there and is extremely personable. Parking is expensive and you have to walk through a garage to get back and forth. Overall I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here but the location is great. Probably only worth it if you have a corporate/government rate and Club access."

"I stayed here for a conference and it was a great stay! The employees were kind and helpful, and the views were amazing from the 35th to club level floors on top. The room was very clean and food was great. I like the conference halls for any event as well. The gym was clean and had machines that a normal gym would have."

"Stayed here many times. They should plan for any conference since they know when guests arrive to check in prior to beginning of conference registration. Parking is a pain for me, but compared to other places where people are used to parking garages it's not that bad. Service was good, except the in house bar - spectators, again, couldn't serve people in a timely fashion. Facilities are nice and plenty of options for any size needed. A little bit of a walk from power and light, but not terrible."
