William E. Macken Park

"Macken Park has been around for what seems like forever. It's grown in popularity and they have done a nice job at keeping the area and facility nice. They have: tennis, soccer, baseball, softball, handball, rollerblading area, a 1 mile walking loop, plus more."

"I brought my kids here to play, they seemed to enjoy themselves a lot. There are a lot of different things for people to play on, including the normal favorites (swings, slides, monkey bars, etc.) At one point some people showed up with metal detectors and a good chunk of the kids followed them around while they dug in the wood chips. (Not an attraction, but it was fun to watch.)"

"Lots of stuff going on down here. From ball parks, hand ball courts & a soft asphalt 1 mile track for walking & running that goes around the whole park. There is a calisthenic section as well but it's not paved it's in the grass so u might get chegroes."

"The park has a one-mike paved walking trail, pickle ball and tennis courts, a soccer field, pavillions and more. A nice patk in a quiet residential area of NKC."

"I love this park. Whether I'm with little ones or the teenagers. I like running the track at night. It's very well lit up and there's always people there. The track is a mile long which is perfect and also has workout stations. There are two playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts and handball. There are several picnic areas and convenient restrooms. There's always something going on there. They also have the Bird scooters now which I think are really cool. Definitely my favorite park to go to. I've been going to Macken Park since I was little girl. I'm glad my children have also been able to enjoy it."
