English Landing Park

"Nice park along the Missouri River. Nice playgrounds and public restrooms. Picnic area as well. Several people walk with dogs. Occasional train sounds can be bothersome."

"Great trails for running. Restrooms and plenty of parking. Little downtown area is nextdoor with a great coffee shop, Parkside Coffee. There's a 3 mile loop and you can go east and connect with riverfront trails (I assume many miles)."

"Parkville is a fun beautiful day trip very close to Kansas City and English Landing Park is one of the reasons. Nice views of the Missouri river augment great facilities like pickleball, disc golf and baseball."

"If you have a little time on your hands, enjoy the outdoors and nature and you are near MCI Airport, then check this park out. Relaxing trails along the river, dog park, picnic area, stage, pickle ball, Disc golf, restrooms and volleyball (I’m sure I am forgetting something)… this is where you need to be. Plus there is a coffee shop/brewery across the street. One more thing, don’t be scared of the gunfire."

"What a great park, with tons of open space and a great trail to walk/run that doesn’t feel small or washed away. The trail is right against the river, with a great view at every turn.. tons of park benches along the trail, and an open pad that allows you a great view of the river on both sides. The park has picnic tables and gazebos spaced out nicely with a great playground for kids of all ages. Overall, I love the park and how everything is spaced out, with large trees and all the grass."
