"Stopped by Teague to order a Gerkin storm door. (There's only two Gerkin dealers in the KC Metro) They wouldn't even let me in the front door. Someone came outside to stop me and asked me what I wanted. She asked if I had an appointment or a sales rep? I said no, it was my first time there. She told me I'd have to email or call first to set something up. So I went to the other Gerkin dealer (Beacon Building supplies), where I walked in, walked up to the counter, and was helped by a rep without the need for any pre-arrangements. I tried Teague first, but Beacon got my business."

"Incredibly rude and difficult to deal with for the end custom. If you plan to use a contractor, find a contractor that uses a different lumber company. If DIY, definitely find another lumber company. This company apparently does not realize or doesn't care who ultimately pays their bills - the person who's project houses the materials purchased. Only one person here was easy to work with, but that lasted only through one encounter. Numerous phone calls were not returned, poor communication, no responsibility for mistakes on their part, poor customer service, increasing prices from order to invoice, etc."
