"Our server tonight was Emma! Great young lady who really had heart in what she was doing. The food was fantastic HUGE portions honestly I wasn’t expecting that! Definitely give it a try if you’ve been hesitant. We didnt wait long for a table either, we were greeted with a smile from everyone as well"

"Great looking restoration of the building. The waitress was attentive. Too bad the food wasn't that good. I had the fried bologna sandwich. It just wasn't fried/crisp enough. Should have been served with mustard instead of Miracle Whip. There was plenty of meat but just wasn't prepared to my tastes. The coleslaw needed sweetness and the tea was weak."

"Three of us went for lunch to check it out. The waitress was wonderful and the food very tasty. I ordered the wings with the Woody's sauce. I also tried a side of potato salad. It was delicious and a large enough portion I brought some home for my husband. My Mom ordered grilled chicken with a side of okra. I never order okra in a restaurant any more because they never tasted as good as I can make at home. I tried Mom's and I will be ordering the okra on my next visit. My sister ordered a salad with grilled chicken. It was huge and very good. I love the look of the restaurant too, especially the corrugated tin in the bathroom. I will be returning."

"Disappointed in the outcome of this place. First experience was lackluster at best, sat at the bar & waited over an hour for chicken breast that came out and wasn’t as ordered. Sides were cold and bland. Today, ordered their ribeye. Cut of meat was poor and chewy (ordered medium rare and came out cold to the touch). No crust, no flavor. “smoked” Mac and cheese tasted like cafeteria food heated in a microwave. Mashed potatoes were much of the same. Saving grace of this restaurant is the staff as they’re all excellent. Do yourself the favor and don’t order entrees. Stick with appetizers and save yourself the money, otherwise you’ll end up disappointed and out $20-$30 per plate."

"This review is posted when they have been open for only a week. Food was good, they got super busy and did not have many options for food left by 6. We were addressed with a manager or working saying they will be closed tomorrow 1/31/24 to have a meeting discussing how to handle this busyness. I appreciate the effort they are putting in, which we didn’t have to wait a hour and 20 min before they told us they were just starting on our food. It will be better when they get more experience being open more. Would come back in the future."
