Karnes Pro Tire

"Located to Miami, OK about 2 years ago and had a few issues with my car which Karnes was the first place I took it to. I've brought it in a number of times and they have always done me right. Will recommend this company who wants reliable and reasonable work done."

"Would not recommend. Day 1. Called to get an appointment for an oil change and to ask if they could drive around my car for a bit because it was shaking when I would hit around 60-75 mph. Once I had the appointment, they had my car for 4 hours. I ended up having to call them to ask if they were finished with my car and they said it was ready (normally they call or text you when they are done). They said it was a broken tire rod and that they would have to schedule another time to fix it. They also did not change the oil. Day 2. Got an oil change and they fixed the tire rod. They said my car was good to go and that everything should been working great. I'm driving back to work and my car is still shaking, this time at 45mph. I call them back and let them know the problem was not fixed and they said I could bring it in the next Monday and they would take a look at it again to find the problem. Day 3. Brought it in, they had my car for 2 hours and called me saying it was ready. When I came to pick it up, they told me that they had just casually forgotten to tell me that my CV axel was broken and they let me drive off with my car and scheduled an appointment to bring it back another day. Day 4. They finally fixed my car $600 later (labor is $150) each time. I understand labor charge and all that, but to forget to tell me that there was a serious problem in my car and let me drive away with it not just once, but multiple times and to have to pay for labor twice when it was something that should have been fixed the first time. I will not be going here again. I have heard good things at the Karnes in Baxter Springs, but I will not be recommend this one to anyone."

"Nope! Never again! We do not recommend this place. My husband told them that another tire shop replaced a TPMS with a regular valve stem. They did not listen to him, instead they continued to tell him they were detecting 4 TPMS and that there was not one to replace. My husband watched the other tire shop install the regular valve stem."

"We were traveling with our very large 5th wheel and had a problem with a tire and wheel on the 5th wheel. They got us in immediately and changed the tire for us no charge. Super friendly and great service. Very much appreciated and got us back on the road safely."

"I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a more unprofessional person at any business than when I came here. After reading the other reviews, I think it was a blessing in disguise. Spent $1,000 on 4 new tires at Goodyear in Joplin. I’d rather invest in the local community, but not here."
