"BONAFIDE BAGEL EXPERT. I grew up in NJ where there were bagel stores in EVERY shopping center. They were all "water" bagels first boiled then baked. This gives a crusty outside and chewy inside. So the bagels are amazing! They had a special "Cherry" bagel this morning and we got one to try it but should have ordered more as once tasted when we got home w were blown away. We showed up at open at 7am Friday morning and there was already a line. This is definitely a DO NOT MISS place."

"Food was DELICIOUS but I recommend ordering two things- the bagels are just a little small. So the only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because it’s a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. But it’s so good! Will definitely be back. Service was great, line was long (you take a ticket and wait for your number to be called), but it’s NYE and a Sunday, so I don’t blame them. Ended up spending $45 on 5 bagels total."

"I finally made it! Great breakfast spot in the art part of town. There was plenty of street parking. Inside is very bright and had few seating options. But bagels, variety of cream cheese and bagel sandwiches - that’s what makes this spot five star! Cherry crunch bagel is must try!"

"The bagel sandwiches and cream cheese at Bagel Union are amazingly delicious. They also have some unique bagel flavors such as cherry crunch. The bagels are good but not quite too the NYC bagel standard as they are a bit bready. Cream cheeses and condiments are terrific. The front of the store is spacious so that the line can wind around. There are some stools at a counter in front and some tables outside on the side where there is parking but this is more of a takeout place. Fast service and easy to pay. Def recommend."

"I'm happy to say that all of the positive things I had heard about this place from friends that know food and bakeries in the area were accurate. The bagels were excellent, and the service was courteous and helpful. Went to college and live in New York City for 5 years and I can attest that the bagels were excellent. They were actually on par with the majority of the establishments there. Fantastic bagels, enjoyed my everything bagel and lox."
