"I recently purchased a new GE stove at the Home Depot Ellisville store. It was a two day process between the purchase and pick up. Everyone I spoke with and dealt with was above and beyond kind and helpful. The sales lady and then the helpers were so kind and pleasant to work with. I visited several other Home Depots looking for the stove and were not treated as kindly. I highly recommend using this store even if it's a little out of your way. Thanks so much!"

"The all state protection plan they sell is a scam. I have been trying since 9/23 to get the half reimbursement for parts and they always say a check is coming and then it doesn’t. The Home Depot sales people are nice and helpful but the 5 year protection plans that are run through all state I cannot recommend. I wish I would have just got a warranty through the brand I bought. Lesson learned. Hope this helps others."

"I've gone here on numerous occasions. Always impossible to find help which is often necessary since they keep so many things locked away. I often have to spend 5-10 minutes and venture across the entire store. If I find a person, they often have to again venture across the store to find a person with the keys and it takes another 10 minutes. One time I needed a tool battery and a wheelbarrow and had to wait a total time of 30 minutes, it wasn't even busy that day. Also, I only use self checkout, but whoever is there watching the stations is always intrusive (its not just one particular person, they all do this) when I just want to check out and leave! If they don't go and manually press the buttons on the machine for me, then they're trying to up sell me on a Home Depot credit card, even if I already have one, they are persistent and say I can take out as many as I want, then they try to get me to take a survey. At this point I try not to make eye contact with them and hold my breath when it's time to check out. I never have ANY of these problems at Lowe's and only go here when I have no other choice."

"I’m in and out of every homedepot in the StLouis area, and this one by far is the one that I always have problems with! Orders,in store assistance, common courteously. The only person at the pro desk who actually cares about your project is the guy with the cool beard and bald head. My advise make your way down to town and country."
