"I've shopped here a lot. Love the selection and prices. However, today was a disappointment. I found shoes I wanted to try on, but they have taken the left shoe out of each box (due to theft, I'm sure, sadly). I'm having trouble with my left foot, and needed to try on both shoes. I settled in to try on the right shoe, figuring I'd ask for the left one if it fit, but the insert was so tight in the right shoe, I could not get it out. This was a Hey Dude shoe, which I have been wanting to try, but I got too frustrated, so I left. Might try again at some point, but it was very frustrating."

"Despite the employee checking the box we were sold 2 of the left shoe (in different sizes). I live hours from the nearest store & I live 6 hours from this particular location. I called to see if they could send me the correct shoe & I could send it back. They told me no because that impacts their stock or the stock of another store (like having two of the incorrect shoe isn’t impacting the store????). Conveniently by a stroke of luck & a work trip I ended up in the area again the next weekend so I brought the shoes in to get the right one. No coupons, discounts, or anything were offered to make the situation right either. They then proceeded to give me the wrong size & send me on my way. Thank goodness I checked to correct it before we left. The associate appeared very off as well. It was an odd experience."

"In a time where good customer service is depleting, I was very impressed with their helpfulness and willingness to help me. I had looked at several competitors for the same product and all the other places were filled with gimmicks, coupons (that wouldn't work on this specific brand), etc and Shoe Dept had the item priced less than Stage, Shoe Carnival, and some on-line retailers. The man who helped me was awesome!"
