MNP Taylor's Stateline Travel Center & Longhorn Grill

"I have stopped here many times. Sometimes for fuel or convenience items, but usually for the Longhorn Restsurant. I'm bad with names, but they have some of the nicest waitresses, the food is good, the servings are filling and it's worth the little extra time it takes because they make everything to order. I gravitate towards the Mushroom and Swiss Burger, but I've tried lots of items and have not been disappointed once."

"Went in to use restroom and wash a few dishes, lady working was cleaning restroom and tells me to use shower (3) . I head to shower 3 lock the door, said shower room was recently used so hadn't been cleaned yet. No toilet paper (amen for baby wipes on hand) while I'm in there moments later a man walks in while I'm washing my dishes (I locked door apparently that doesn't work either) after that another man does the exact same thing (mind u water is running, u can hear that through the door , so obviously you know said room is occupied) duh. I wouldn't be suprised if sex or human trafficking was common here. How do u tell a young woman to use a shower room and then not more than minutes later send two others into same room? Help me make that make sense. I wasn't able to call out to husband as the signal here is trash my phone had zero bars. Says free wifi but while scanning for wifi nothing pops up. SUPRISE! This place in under kept and the workers are absolutely lazy and pay zero attention to what is going on . Absolutely disappointing and disgusting"

"Plenty of big truck parking, decided to treat myself to dinner at the longhorn grill. My waitress was very attentive and sweet. I had chicken fried steak for the first time and I was not disappointed. Really good food, fairly priced and big truck parking? I'LL BE BACK FOR SURE!!"

"The store employees and managers must be very lazy. While they are leaning on the counter talking to coworkers,nothing is priced. Unless it it printed on the package, i.e., chips, nothing is priced. I wanted to buy a package of Benadryal, Coke Zero, and a bag of orange slices, but none were priced. Now, the dope cabinet had various dope delivery methods and even bulk dope for sale and priced. Apparently, the store staff has been good customers of the dope cabinet because they were just chilling instead of working. The bathroom was a wreck. Three stalls and two urinals, of which only one of each worked. The working stall door did not have a latch. There were no paper towels, only air dryers. The hot water was hot, and the soap dispenser actually dispensed soap. The Longhorn Grill is a bit different story. I would give them three stars. The waitress was not friendly at all and seemed perturbed that I was there. She did get my ice tea quickly, and once she did take my order, it was delivered quickly. I ordered the BBQ omelet, and it was excellent, with the American Fries cooked properly. Bill was $18.00, including tip. I'll eat here again, but not waste my time in the store or using the restroom."

"I had the pork chops for dinner. Perfectly cooked, great tasting batter! I went back in this morning and had the biscuits and gravy with home fries. These were by far the best one’s I’ve had on my weekly run between Detroit and Laredo!! Megan was a great waitress with a wonderful smile and kept everyone’s coffee hot! Great job everyone!!"
