"Take out for 2. Waited about 40 minutes. Parking lot was mostly empty. Bbq chicken wings were dry as sandpaper and burnt to a crisp. Completely inedible. Chicken fried steak overcooked and tasted terrible. Bourbon glazed pork chops were pretty good. Green beans and rolls were good. First time Customer and probably the last time we'll visit. Lunch for two at about $40 per with tip."
"First time eating at Flat Creek. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were so huge! Liked the relaxed atmosphere and our service was good. Couple of issues, but, they were fixed as soon as they were notified. We will be back!"
"We stopped in last night on our way back home and we WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! The prices go hand in hand with the portions. There were 3 of us and with all the food we had left over we could possibly feed 2 more people. The food was hot, cooked and seasoned right. We didn't get dessert this time but next time I will be.....they were HUGE !!! The decor inside will keep you busy, reading the signs and everything that's hanging. I can't recommend this place enough and WE WILL DEFINITELY be coming again when in the area"
"Amazing! The catfish is delicious! All you can eat is $18.99 & you might be able to eat 1 more... if you're lucky! They start you off with 4 huge pieces, fries & homemade slaw! It's all damn good! Our waitress was great & everyone was really nice! Go visit Flat Creek & build one near KC!"
"If you're looking for cheap food with low standards, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for high grade fresh food and professional service, you've come to the right place! Just bring your appetite because these portions are built for hungry truckers and breastfeeding moms. You will not leave here hungry I can promise you that. My husband ordered the catfish basket. It included 3 fried catfish filets that were 5-6 in length and 1 1/2-2 inches thick. Each. The meal also included 2 4 oz hush puppies, 4 oz of coleslaw, and 10 oz of seasoned fries. He scored it a 10/10. I ordered the 3 cheese and bacon burger. It came with 12 oz of fries, but the burger was monstrous! Definitely needed both hands to hold it. The burger itself was cooked to order, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delectable! We took what we couldn't eat home, along with a 1lb slice of carrot cake. All in all we payed $50 for everything and took half home. Our wallet is lighter but we had lunch and enough for dinner tonight. 10/10 will be back!"
