"7-26-22 I previously gave a 4 star however my senior disabled mother went to ask about getting boxes and the staff was extremely rude. They told her she could get boxes but if she messed anything up or broke anything etc., etc., they would call the police and sue her etc., etc., with what my mother described as very rudely and mean. First off you are staff, at most a manager and you can’t sue anyone, so get over yourself. Secondly break what? Just asking for your trash boxes to move. Third, to go to such extremes with a senior who was probably stuttering and nervous because she has intellectual disabilities is unacceptable. I feel like going and giving this employee a piece of my mind and putting her in her place but people like that sometimes are more at a disadvantage mentally than my poor mom. I will NEVER shop there , will tell everyone of this disgusting behavior and NEVER allow my mom who shops there often to shop there again. I know it’s not a big deal to the store but I won’t allow anyone to treat my mom with such disrespect ."

"Love the new changes after the remodel! More variety of things & a smoother checkout. Sue does a fantastic job getting everyone ran up & out the door. She's also knowledgeable & helpful when asking about something. They have cool hot wheels, art supplies, games & lego sets that are very affordable. Great place to take the kids to spend their money they earn."

"Store was dirty, there is always boxes of products sitting on the floor. Staff seen angry all the time. Have employees talking smong themselves about working conditions. Store layout makes it hard to find items. Store is lighting is poor. Not a big Walmart fan, but Wally World is better than the Fort Scott DOLLAR GENERAL STORE...."

"I like going to Dollar General because they have digital coupons for diapers and wipes and House Cleaning Supplies I don't really go there for much else maybe like Band-Aids or some cheap shoes that you don't care if you lose it the lake. This one was really clean and have great customer service."

"Smaller store but seem to have good deals on their ads. I only shop there when they have good ads. It's a great place to buy sodas. Watch out for sales...they don't do Pepsi products even though they often have it on their sale ads. Canned goods, sodas, chips, candy are items I often purchase there. Use those digital coupons for even more savings. As far as the store, it seems crowded and sometimes seems really dirty."
