HUSKERS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL

"This place was literally the worst place I have ever eaten at upon entering this establishment it appears to be a normal sports bar I took my kids to grab a bite and had to pass 5 tables to find one that was decently clean that should have been my que to leave but I decided to give it a shot as some things sounded good on the menu. I ordered their bacon ranch burger which turned out to be ok there was a however weird slimy texture but did not taste abnormal my son ordered bullalo wings which came out as honey bbq and not cooked fully my daughter probably made the best choice and got just a order of fries they seemed to be cooked in old oil but were again fine-ish when it came time to pay no one was to be found as there was only one employee working as cook cashier waiter and bar tender the bill was recieved and I had to wipe the crumbs from the bar in order to reluctantly sign the receipt I now fear that myself and my son may have food poisoning but has yet to be proven"

"We had a drink, appetizer and burgers. Spent around $50 with the tip. Drink was heavily poured. We asked about the burgers shown on the menu, the reason we drove nearly 20 miles to try, and was told they were stock photos. There were no chicken breasts so a good third of the menu was not available, nor was there Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Appetizer came out after a bit of a wait considering how we were one of four tables in the restaurant, but nothing we were super concerned about. I don't even remember what it was, something fried with a side of the cheapest "ranch" available in the market. One burger had pulled pork on it. The flavor was okay. The pork was very wet and resembled something out of a cafeteria. The fries were very good. Other burger was Mushroom and Swiss. First bite I thought it had a lot of flavor and was surprised. Then I got a taste of bad meat.....or old blood? I'm not sure how to describe it. The patty was gray colored so the bloody flavor was confusing. They were real, hand formed patties, not frozen ones, which I appreciated. Again, the fries were good. I didn't get sick so I do not think the meat was bad per se, but I'm borderline if it was good. The atmosphere was comfortable, bright and clean, and we enjoyed our evening visiting with each other and the bartender. All in all, we knew when we got into our vehicle that we would not drive to eat there again unfortunately. Alas, I'm still on the lookout for my "Cheeseburger in Paradise" here in the Midwest."

"Really a pleasant space. Server was great. Great prices. Only complaint is that the burger I got didn’t taste like hamburger. There were so many different seasonings in it, it didn’t taste like a burger. Had my heart set on a good burger. I would go back. Just won’t order a burger."

"The Mushroom & Swiss burger was delicious. The fries were the best I've ever had. The cook today was Johnny and he makes a special seasoning for the fries that is amazing. I highly recommend this business and will be returning."

"A relatively new place, they opened a few weeks ago. Modern, clean and spacious, not a big menu but you are definitely going to find something to satisfy you. They have a really nice bar set up and the best part was the service, if you're staying at the hotel give them a try."
