"I had the worst shopping experience here. I tried to return/exchange three sweaters that I bought online using Afterpay. The blonde girl at the counter turned us away because it was paid for using “afterpay” and said we would have to return it by mail. I didn’t understand the policy and I had returned and exchanged online purchases bought with afterpay before so I called customer service and they confirmed that they now have a new policy and it’s true they DO NOT HONOR returns of their own products to their actual storefront shop if it was bought by after pay. This new policy is so inconvenient and unnecessary and it’s taking them backwards in the industry. Not only would it have been outstanding customer service for them to treat it like any other return, but they would have had an opportunity to keep the money and sell me more, and also resell items that I had originally bought on a sale at significant 70% discount. They aren’t running this sale anymore so they could have made more money on the items - Adding to their inventory and profitability. I don’t know who’s making their business policy but it even lacks common sense. I made this purchase for Christmas gifts and now have only three days left to figure out the return/exchange process the or find other replacements. There’s no way this will make it back, through USPS during Christmas and then have them reship new sizes/ items to make it back to me before the holiday. So that sucks and I’ll never forget it. In fact, I am so turned off from ever shopping here again that once I return it and replace the gifts I’ll be sure to shop from a competitor store. By the way, I bought a handful of items from Lululemon online and used Klarna and had to return/exchange at the same outlet center there twice already for other Christmas gifts and one time was even for something they don’t carry in store. They never announced I couldn’t return anything paid for by Klarna and they took care of an exchange by returning it for a gift card and then using the gift card to re-buy the color I wanted (and the man processed the purchase on his own phone!) This is an example of exceptional customer service that Francesca’s can learn from. To add the cherry to the cake, when starting a return online, to mail back your purchase they require you print your own return label and pay $5 out of your refund for the return shipping costs, which is USPS snail mail!!! And I had free shipping so I’m even paying extra out of pocket even for the return. I’ll never shop here again. Francescas, you suck!"
"DO NOT SHOP ONLINE AND THINK EXCHANGING WILL BE EASY!! My wife bought several item as Christmas gifts, but a few items either did not fit or didn’t look as good as they did online. Shocker. We attempted to exchange at the store but were told…NO! We had to print a return label, then drive to the post office and then pay $5 inconvenience fee. This is customer service at its worst. Especially during the holidays. Francesca must be the wife of the Grinch."
"Absolutely fantastic, I have not received this level of customer service in years! Echo is absolutely fantastic and went so above and beyond helping me. I came in very near closing and with a very specific request and she did not hesitate to do everything she could to help me make it happen. There are a few locations closer to where I live than this one but I will gladly drive the extra twenty minutes for this location every time ! Came for the clothes but I will be coming back because of Echo!"
"Yesterday was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Francesca’s. I love visiting this store so much as I always find something cute to buy. Well walking in… “the greeter” was sitting on the windowsill with her white sandal heels off. Laying down. The other employee shortly followed and was sitting on the windowsill on her phone. I want to say about 8 customers in the store… no customer service at all. I tried on a few items and I loved a brown blouse but I didn’t want to spend $46 for it. I shopped the jewelry I loved it was buy one get one $1. However the LACK of customer service I experienced I chose to walk out with nothing. I went online to only find out my shirt was 50%! Wow! I sure would have bought it in the moment if someone would have helped me. I would say lees summit francesca’s has the absolute worst customer experience and lack of want or need for customers to shop with associates who rather lay on the windowsill and “tan” I would never want someone to experience this at my location so now I actually use them as an example of what not to do. No conversion. No financial gain. No drive. It’s sad……"
"I usually love this store and I was hoping to purchase a dress that was recommended from a friend. However, I am disappointed that the Sunday hours say that it opens at noon and the store is completely dark and locked. Are the hours current? If not, they should be updated. Thank you"
