"Once in a while I get all, corp America/Art world Saga… I would consider this a “Big Box” store in the book world. While it does open people to opportunities/experiences we might not have known existed… it feels as if (much like radio stations) we are offered the “what sells $$” more than the cutting edge… the future. Yes I’m aware there’s only so many tales to tell… man vs man vs nature etc. as I walked through… each display felt like the same story “w a twist”? I suppose it’s all in the marketing… so I become irritated a bit. Still… I wasn’t looking for a book.. to be read right now. But a journal, as a gift to my mother. W/ a note inside asking her to write… anything she wanted to share…. Thoughts she wants us to know and remember. About not only her life as she experienced it but to toss in what she remembers of our family tree… tales we haven’t heard from the family… maybe let her inside voice out just a little. So that when she’s gone…. We have memories.. recorded old school. She’s not going to leave us soon…. I assume. Which gives her ample opportunity to let the idea stew, write a bit.. forget to write a thousand times… and still get scribbles in many of the pages. I was in a hurry… the one I’d ordered hadn’t came in… and I needed a quick fix.sure enough even on my tight budget, I found what I needed. The staff was friendly…. And really what can you really ask of any establishment. lol"
