"I thought I was receiving excellent care although I kept asking for antibiotics for an abscess. They acted as if I was seeking drugs. Went to urgent care (my student told me to go to the ER if I wanted antibiotics). Turns out they were allowing an abscess to send infection into my tooth, gums and bone."

"I became very unhealthy after going here to be seen by their dentists. I definitely believe that they took advantage of me because I'm a disabled adult and did unnecessary procedures and made me extremely sick as a result and are now making it seem like an accident. I had to go to multiple emergency room visits because of it and almost lost my life and I am now battling an infection in the bone of my jaw which is getting worse. I would document and keep records of everything done here. Even recording visits on a camera watch or camera glasses, or a cell phone. They don't want this to happen but in Missouri it's legal as long as one person in the conversation knows they are being recorded. Missouri is a one party state so it is legal to do without their permission. if they take advantage of you then report them to the FBI, attorney general, and insurance company for medical fraud, contact dental board and make a complaint, file a discrimination complaint of you feel like you were discriminated against, and even consider filing a police report for assault.. keep records and protect yourself because this place is out of control and I believe they are using the histeria in the world right now to off people they deem to be unessential. If you know what I mean. Like the more vulnerable people in society, like poor or disabled people that have no one to stick up for them.. they are predatory here. It's sick. Stay safe and healthy because this place will take both from you."

"Be careful. I didn't know if you knew this but many of the dentists in the nearby Kansas City area have worked for or got their "education " from this dental school. If you are hurt at one or the other it doesn't matter they are all part of the same alumni. Meaning they protect each other. And youmay get hurt more. Research your dentist by name and you can find out where they went to school. Id avoid anyone associated with this place . They may not be really helping you but Instead profit from your pain. Good luck. And you may think that going to another dentist will help but it may not if they are part of the same alumni.. contact your insurance company if you believe they are taking advantage of it, also contact the FBI, they do investigate things like that, if hurt contact the Missouri dental board, they probably won't help but you need to at least make a report so it shows a pattern of behavior, and contact a lawyer. Sad thing is you don't actually have many options... You're not as safe as you think.. "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph, is for good people to do nothing. ""

"I feel like they are intentionally neglecting certain problems like a filling, so they can do more intensive and expensive work to their patients later. Everyone needs a filling, so they all get practice doing fillings all day, but they need people to do root canals and tooth pulling on for practice. They may even misdiagnose you on purpose for that very reason. They may let your problems become worse so they can profit from it financially and to learn how to fix those problems later.. I hope you are all ok if they left you in pain or hurt you in a way to do work on you later . I'm so sorry I can't help you.."

"Ive received regular treatment since the mid 1990s and have always experienced the highest level of care and professionalism. The fees are affordable to almost anyone. As a small business owner who cannot afford dental insurance my general health has benefitted through a comprehensive dental program of frequent cleanings and other necessary procedures. A big hug to students and staff at UMKC School of dentistry!"
