"We moved to the Shoal Creek area recently and was in search for a dentist in the area. I’ve had cleanings and repair— Dr. Desai and assistant Jenna are always phenomenal. They truly care about how you are doing during your sessions. It was always pain free and comfortable (as a dentist appointment can be). Our entire family goes here (with the kiddos next door at the pediatric dentist). Dr. Wilson and the entire team WOW. I really can’t say enough about these 2 places."

"I will start that the beginning: I made an appointment with Liberty Oaks Dental for a cleaning. I liked Dr. Avey and would have loved to continue being a customer there, but I cannot, with the treatment I received from their staff, keep going. I got a call the day before my set appointment to update my insurance. Their office called and left a voicemail and I called back 2 minutes later (I have all the call logs on my phone and screenshot). No mentioned of cancellation was mentioned in the voicemail. When I called back, I unknowingly got their call center (they did not clarify this with me at the time). I gave them my insurance information and said I would bring my card in at my appointment. The next day, I received a text notification reminder at 9:00 AM for my 11:00 AM appointment. I arrived at 10:50 AM to check in. I was told my appointment had been cancelled. Their assistant office manager, Amanda, proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because I had been warned my appointment would be cancelled if I did not update my insurance. I showed her that I had called and she still said there was nothing they could do and it was my fault this happened. I drove 20 miles for my appointment and was very frustrated, especially since I HAD covered my bases and even had a text reminder less than 2 hours prior. I expressed that I was being treated rudely and in return Amanda retorted back that "YOU are being rude!". It was the most unprofessional situation I have ever witnessed in a medical setting. She told me I was more than welcome to find a different dentist - there was no apology for the miscommunication between them and their own call center (the receptionist, who was very sweet, finally said that the call center had taken down my new information they just didn't finish it so it showed up as unverified). Amanda was still extremely rude and hateful towards me, again, with no apology on the office's behalf since I had done everything in my control to give them my information. I asked that the doctor call me so I could discuss this. He never did despite leaving a few messages. I will be letting everyone I know that as long as Amanda works in your office they'd be better off finding somewhere else so they're not met with hate and hostility as a PAYING CUSTOMER."

"Just had my first visit with Dr. Avey, and it was a great experience! Katie was awesome as well - super friendly and fun to be around. We've been taking our kids to this dental group for a couple years now and have always been happy."

Dr. Yip and Katie were both very professional and fun and made sure I felt at ease throughout the entire appointment. I highly recommend this dentist office for anyone looking for a positive and comfortable dental experience!"
